The FLIR A500 is available in both an Image Streaming configuration, and a Smart Sensor configuration. The Smart Sensor is ideal for users who want built-in, on-camera analysis and alarm capabilities for condition monitoring and early fire detection applications. The Image Streaming is the right choice for users who want camera control capabilities and image streaming over Ethernet, as well as the flexibility to perform analysis and collect raw data on thermal characteristics using preferred software applications. With options for Wi-Fi, an integrated visual camera and ONVIF S compatibility, the FLIR A500 is a flexible, configurable solution to meet the unique needs of automation customers in a wide range of industries. The main difference from the FLIR A50 is that the FLIR A500 has interchangeable lenses and an autofocus.
