The FLIR RS8523 MWIR infrared camera system is a high-performance thermal camera and infrared telescope combined in a single weatherproof housing. It is specifically designed for long-range tracking and measurement applications including military range, aerospace and outdoor research. Built around a high-resolution 1280 × 1024 midwave indium antimonide detector capable of delivering data at up to 180 frames per second, the RS8523 24% offers more pixels and a 46% higher frame rate than the previous model. Multiple options for simultaneous data and video output allow the camera to be easily integrated into most data acquisition systems.
