The Extech MO210 is a pocket-sized moisture meter that you can take anywhere. With this moisture meter, you can quickly determine if wood and other permeable materials have absorbed water. It works simply: push the meter's sharp electrode pins into the surface of concrete, drywall or other building materials and the device detects moisture levels between 0.2% and 2.4%. If you set the material selector switch to “wood,” the meter determines the presence of moisture in wood from 6% to 44%. The MO210 comes with a protective cap, replacement pins and 3x CR-2032 batteries.
